what i want, you've got and it might be hard to handle

i've just been enjoying my vacation these last few days... and now i don't want to go back to work :( i've been spending more time with my laptop and i like it more and more. i'm very happy with my purchase.

anyway. i'm watching supernatural right now but i felt like sharing some pictures of my present that i made for alan. yesterday i took some sexy pictures of my creation. so here they are for all of you to see!! ^^

oh yeah, so totally hot. ;)

anywho. sadly today is tuesday, which means that i only have 5 more days of my vacation *tears*. i gotta make the most of my time while i still have it!!

on a happier note. today i purchased some beer called früli. it's a strawberry one. so tonight i'll be surprising alan with it to try it out while also surprising him with watching the movie, "something, something, something darkside."

and while our blood's still young, so young it runs.

so christmas has come and gone. and now it's boxing day!
as per usual, i stayed in. i didn't bother going out in the sea of people to look at a bunch of ugly stuff i don't need that stores are trying to get rid of. instead i spent my morning waking up with alan and just relaxing the morning away. it was nice. eventually we went out and had subway for lunch, and then i headed home to wait until later in the evening to head to steve's place to chill.

christmas was good. woke up in the morning and opened my presents with my family. then alan came over and we exchanged ours. he finally got my awesome present that i made..... along with everything else i gave him i knitted him a.... sock monkey! :D it turned out really well! i'm so proud of my work, and alan loved it ^^

then soon after my uncle and his family came over to eat breakfast. then everyone went home and i made a dessert and helped to get food ready for later that evening when my family would come over. it was good. i met my younger cousin's fiance and ate delicious food! (yummy turkey!! it was so juicy).

anyway. all-in-all it was a great christmas. and i hope that yours was too! :)

so yesterday was my grandmother's christmas dinner at the home and wouldn't you just know it, there was an accident at don mills and finch which made going home to pick up my mom and head over to the home take longer then necessary.

thankfully i'm totally awesome and was able to navigate myself back home and to the home. while we were a little bit late at least we weren't an hour late!!

it was such a nice dinner. i got to eat with my grandma again and watch/listen to some live entertainment. during the band playing an older gentleman who is from the home and an older lady got up and started to dance together. it was so sweet. i hope that in the future i'll be like that as well with alan :)

anyway. later on during the night there was finally the first snowstorm of the year!! driving to work was a little scary at first because i'm not sure how old bertha can handle the nasty conditions anymore. but thankfully i'm a completely awesome driver and was able to make it to work not only early, but safe and sound (WADDUP!!).

since i didn't have to work with asperger's boy today until bit later, i stayed at work until 10 (so that i didn't have to go home) and then found out that i didn't have to go to asperger's boy anymore! yay! so i headed home and decided that i would go to the bank and open up some accounts and fix up my credit card so that i could prepare myself for total awesomeness that is a new laptop. so now that's all done and set up and i'm preparing for my future home purchase and my retirement! woot! ^-^

anyway. tonight i'm staying in and just relaxing in the comfort of my own room. it's going to be dinner soon. i have pizza tonight! yum yum! i can't wait! ^-^

so... it's the first day of december! and there is no snow on the ground still. *tears* that's ok... it's not that i want there to be a lot. i wouldn't mind just a little bit on the ground to make it seem all nice and christmasy! ^-^

anywho! just for the spirit of christmas i'm going to have a countdown! woot! only a few more days left to get all that christmas shopping done or made! last night i finished making one of the important parts of my gift for alan... all i have to do now is make 3 more things and i'm completely finished!! wootsauce! ^-^ i hope he likes it! well... he doesn't have much of a choice cause it's made from me with love!! lots of love! and lots of time too! woo wee!!

so this time last year i was at home as york was on strike. this year i'm home because i'm sickly and it won't go away :( i took off yesterday afternoon and this morning to get some sleep and get medication from the doctor. i'm on antibiotics now to get better... but all last night i was coughing even harder and felt like poop. *sighz* oh well. i hope by tomorrow i feel a bit better ^-^ Thursday is alan's christmas party so i gotta be tip top! ^-^

hello november!

where has the year gone? it has definitely flown by, that's for sure. there's only 51 more days until christmas and already i have busted out the magical tunes. early as usual, i know, but i can't help it. i love christmas music! as well as the season and the holiday! weee!! (and no, if you're wondering if i'll be sick of my christmas music by the time december rolls around, then you definitely don't understand my love for it!) :P

anywho! so tomorrow is finally wednesday and that means that once i finish in the evening i'll be heading off to the loo for a birthday extravaganza! and thursday i'll be sleeping in and enjoying the day! yay! ^^ i can't wait. i'm extremely excited!

anywho. so last night i was sitting around thinking to myself, "hmmm. since christmas is coming i have to think of some things that i would want so that i can pass them onto my mom." but again this year, there isn't really anything that i want and so..... when my mom asked me today at dinner i was like... yes! i was thinking about that! but sadly i could provide no answer. (she did then tell me that the bay has set up their christmas display in the windows downtown! so i want to go check them out!).

on another christmasy note. i have to begin my christmas shopping! i always finish it in november so that i don't have to worry about lines or deadlines or anything. it just really makes things so much easier. sadly, this year i have no idea what i am going to get alan. i'm finally stumped *sighz*. well, i still have some time so i'll try to pry something out of him :)

happy *early* halloween!

so today the children came dressed up to school! the preschoolers were the most adorable thing in the entire world! hahahaa i have to share my pictures with you :) my schoolagers had their party today. we had chips and chocolate, i made them roasted pumpkin seeds from the pumpkin we carved. i also brought in a movie for them to watch *ghostbusters* and they performed for the kindergarteners. it was overall a good afternoon. but sadly, i am not feeling well. i have a stuffed nose and feel congested and i also have a bit of a headache. i think it's because yesterday at work someone pulled the fire alarm just before school ended and i didn't have my coat with me so i was stuck outside in the cold. blahhh... i don't like being sick. i still don't have my voice back yet and i'm getting very upset. i think i have to go see the doctor again.

it's thursday!

that means tomorrow is friday and that means the end of the work week! *finally!* soon the weekend will be here and there shall be plenty of snuggling, cuddling and sleeping (also some delicious eating too!).

many people have asked me, "michelle, what are you going to be for halloween?" and i try to explain my outfit. it's pretty difficult to describe. so, i have decided to add a picture of it for everyone to see. i have taken a few pictures of myself in the costume, but i don't want to post them as my makeup and hair aren't done nicely so it doesn't look as good. so without further ado, you have seen my costume! the "dark heart queen."

i'll add some pictures when i get fully dressed up. tomorrow the preschoolers, jk/sk's and schoolagers will be dressing up for halloween! i'm going to be taking lots of pictures, especially of the little ones as they'll be super CUTE! :) i'll be sure to share them with you too!! I will also be dressed up as well, but in something a little more conservative then my costume. i'm going to be queen of the nile. boom! there's a pic. it should be fun.

anywho. that's enough for now. tonight is grey's anatomy so i'll be watching that later. for now i'm going to make sure my costume fits and then maybe take a nap before ga. see ya! :)

so! yesterday i took on an educational assisant job for a little boy with aspergers. it is definitely an interesting experience. luckily i have someone with me at all times so that if i don't know what to do, she can help me. i'm actually quite happy that i took this on though. while i do have my special education part 1 qualification, being able to get this one-on-one interaction has confirmed my beliefs that if i were to teach a spec ed class, i would definitely feel more comfortable being a more seasoned teacher. i feel that i would burn out sooner rather than later and i still have much to learn about the art of teaching!

anywho! on a more happier note! i feel like showing off some of the things that some of my kids have been doing in my program. since halloween is fast approaching we have been making ghosts in the graveyard. unfortunately, we started to run out of white paint and our ghosts had to disappear and turn into graves lol. but they still turned out pretty cute.


my students also want to put on a play/dance for halloween so they've been making some scenery for it as well! they are a pretty talented bunch when they're not arguing with each other or getting hyper! they've also been decorating the class with ghosts and chains which has been fun, but sadly they had to be taken down as hanging them from the ceiling was deemed a fire hazard :(

in other news, this saturday is halloween! last nigt alan and i bought our pumpkin and carved it out :) it's super duper awesome and cute this year :) i love it! so we'll be handing out candy at his house again this year then after we will be heading out to a party @ the science centre called "monster's ball." it will be interesting! i shall let you know all about that after it happens! and on an even happier note, i'll be heading to waterloo to celebrate joanne's big 2-2! it will also be my first time @ bomber! it shall be interesting and i took off thursday so that i can stay overnight and head home during the day without being all blah the next day at work! :) so i'm uber excited!

don't stop believing (hold onto that feeling)

it's been quite a while since my last post. woooo wee.

so much has happened/occured since my last post months ago! i am now a certified teacher and desperately trying to find me some work! LoL on a plus note, at the moment i'm working at a child care for the before and after school program. so far so good, i started on tuesday and the week has been flying by! i can't believe it'll be friday already tomorrow!

well, that is pretty much the biggest news i can share. in the summer i also went to boston for a few days. that was an adventure all in itself and i met 2 new people and now have new memories and stories to share, yay!

oooo! and now that i'm working i will finally get an awesomeo present from alan! he told me that for either my birthday or for christmas he would take me away somewhere... the only stipulation was that i had to have a job so that i could provide for my own spending money! so it looks like i'll be having an interesting present! yay! i will finally be heading somewhere on my first plane ride ever!! i am getting ever so much closer!!

anyway. that's enough for now. i'm going to head to the bank then head on back to work. i have a staff meeting tonight so i'll be coming home a bit late... like 7pm. not too bad. till next time!

SO! I finished the Twilight saga yesterday and I was elated! Those were definitely the best books that I have ever read (and in a long time)! I do highly reccomend reading them!
As for the movie, I wasn't expecting too much. I knew it wouldn't be like the book but wow! It really wasn't! But it was all good. It was very entertaining and Robert Pattison did a good job portraying Edward. New Moon will definitely be interesting to watch how they do it!
Anyway, there really isn't very much else that's going on. The strike is still going on but they're negoitating right now. They started talks on Saturday (Jan. 3rd), so we'll see what happens. I've kinda grown acustomed to staying home... it's going to be so hard to go back now! but i do really want to finish school and start making some moula. I am so broke it's not funny :( *tears*
But on a more positive note, it'll be me and Alan's 3 year anniversary in a week! :) woohoo!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

So the beginning of 2009 has begun! Last night I rang in the new year at Steve's house. It was fun!

Since the last time that I actually wrote something of meaning. I started reading the Twilight series and I am in love! They are wonderfully amazing! I feel like an old lady reading those drug store romance novels! :P I can't wait to finish them. I read the first 2 and now I'm waiting for the next book to be delivered to my house (for some reason the third in the series "Eclipse" isn't sold in stores because it's out of stock EVERYWHERE!! Which sucks. But that's ok. I'll get it tomorrow or Monday and my love binge can continue! In the mean time, tonight I'm going to watch the Twilight movie and I am quite excited! ^^ yay!

Anyway. Other than that.... My poor little Eric died 2 weeks ago. I was so sad :( I burried him in the backyard. But there was so much snow and the ground was so hard. I miss him bundles. I feel so bad cause little Charles is all alone now and he looks so sad :(

On a happier note. I found a new band that I'm in love with now. They're called "The Veronicas." They're a twin sister duo and they are quite awesome-saucesome! I reccomend taking a listen to their second album "Hook me up"! :)
