woot! got my costume on friday and now i'm the happiest camper in the word!

tonight i'm going to the firkin with katie, nn, kz, alan, steve, and whoever else is going. it is also katie's bday today! double whammy! i haven't seen katie for a few months so it'll be nice to see her again! ^-^ debby might be coming too, so that'll be even more awesome cause i think it's been a year since i last saw debby!

anywho! that's it for now. i think i'll take picutres of my costume and put them up on my cosplay blog.

019 // heyo, here i am.

it's been a while since i last posted anything.

anyway. there hasn't been much going on. this past long weekend alan and I went to niagara falls saturday and sunday. it was nice. we both had a really good time ^-^

other than that, the weather has gotten extremely hot and will be for the rest of the week (well.. more like until tomorrow. friday it'll cool down a bit but it might also rain).

the status of my costume is still the same. i haven't done any work for the longest time. i'm still waiting for my costume. i've been having trouble with the original company so i'm thinking of asking paypal to give back my money so that I can get it all handmade by someone (who makes cosplay outfits!)... we've been talking for the past week about all the things that I want and whatnot.... hopefully today she'll give me a quote.. I just hope it's not too crazy expensive. but at least it will be worth it cause i'll have my costume in time for August (which I know is still like 2 months away, but it will take a while to get my costume made!) >.<* (it's very intricate!).

O Canada! Our home and native land! (and #1 in hockey baby!).
 
the olympics concluded last night with a heart pounding finish. happily we won oursleves the gold and showed the states who's game hockey truly belongs to! WHAT-UP!
 
and now that the olympics are over my shows can finally return back to the air! woot! regular tv programming!
 
today is beautiful as well by the way. it's sunny out and there are clear skies! it's also warm out and that makes me happy. go away cold winter weather and bring on the summer, baby! I just hope that when i head home from work today that there will still be a bit of sun out so that I can enjoy a bit of the day before it goes away. next week is daylight savings time so yay! soon i'll be able to enjoy the sun for longer periods of time! no more gloomy dark weather on the ride home! :D hoorah!
